EnGarde Speech and Debate club was formed in 2011. 

 

EnGarde is open to any homeschooled students who are between the ages of 12 and 18 by September 1st of the competition year. 

 

All members of EnGarde are required to compete in a minimum of two NCFCA tournaments during the current competition year.

 

To compete in NCFCA tournaments, an eligible competitor must be a homeschooled student whose education is managed by his parent(s) or legal guardian(s). An eligible competitor’s education may include the use of tutors, video courses, internet courses, dual-credit classes, classes in cooperation with other homeschool students, and other creative methods that supplement home education.
